HIMAfrica-India is the ministry of Jeff and Lou Ann Hawkins, associated with Hope Builders Ministries in Africa and India Helping Indigenous Missions. Our Mission is to “Equip, Encourage and Empower Indigenous Missions”  to train pastors, plant churches and make disciples for Jesus Christ in Africa and India.

To fulfill our mission we provide training for pastors and leaders, and strategy for making disciples and planting churches in the African and Indian Indigenous Church. The strategy HBM provides is the Hub Model.  Materials (Bibles and Bible study materials) are also made available to the leaders who disciple others, 2 Timothy 2:2.

Today over 2000 Zambian pastors are participating in the 3 year Bible training program overseen by 50 pastors in partnership with Hope Builders Ministries Zambia.

IN February 2013 HBM INDIA was organized. Jeff has returned to India annually to build upon this foundation. Today the ministry includes Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Orissa States. Stephen Prasad directs Andhra Pradesh and works with 28 fellow pastors training over 500 other pastors. Hundreds more are being organized and trained in Telangana under the leadership of Prabhu Kiran. The 1 on 3 HUB model of disciple-making continues to be the model used to multiply the mission rapidly.
